[UX Design - Home Page]

The purpose of this project was to redesign the entire website, to drive the audience to conversion. Prior to starting this page, extensive research was done to understand who the audience is, why and how they visit this page, and key needs of the audience or reasons why they would or would not want to purchase this product. This process also included examining competitor pages and examining best UX practices of ecommerce websites. Post research, I created wireframes and full color mockups of possible layouts for the pages and discussed how my research correlated with the designs with my client.
The goal of the homepage was to reduce bounce rates, while motivating the audience to continue to click through the website. The information about the company needed to be extremely clear while hitting some of the audience pain points. This included what the company does, what they are selling, how they can access the product and how they can use it, and a brief bio about the company (who, what, why, when, how). By removing the initial slideshow of images, it helped increase the load time of the website (decreasing bounce rates right away) and by adding content, it not only helped to rank higher in Google but also helped to build trust with the audience.
Within two months of launching the website, the company grew in size exceeding supply and demand for the product. The company continues to grow and is now able to outsource a lot of their product to keep up with the growth in orders.
